About Good Neighbors International Uganda
Good Neighbors International Uganda (GNIUG), is a foreign registered NGO in Uganda with its Head office located in Kampala. Legally registered first in 2015 with the Uganda National Bureau of Non- Government Organization with Registration file no: MIA/NB/2015/04/2335.
GNIUG is a field country of Good Neighbors International, an international humanitarian and development NGO founded in Korea in 1991 in General Consultative Status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (UN ECOSOC), and one of the largest in South Korea. The organization currently conducts missions around the world to improve quality of life and educational standards, as well as to provide aid in areas of civil unrest or natural disasters.
Our Strengths
Good Neighbors International works in over 50 countries and in Uganda we currently work in the following regions but with future expansion plans across the Country; Kampala (Head Ofice), Pallisa District, Jinja District, Kyegegwa District (Kyaka II refugee settlement), Mpigi District, Mityana District, Luwero District and Mukono District. Good Neighbors International Uganda has strength in the following sectors.
GNIUG has well set supportive administrative internal policies and structures that favours the working environment of all staffs while emphasizing high level of professionalism and competency in all departments or positions.
GNIUG holds a computerized developed financial management systems/application. This is vital in the controlling of the organization’s financial flow that promotes a strong ground level of accountability and transparency.
GNIUG works together in harmony with various key stakeholders and partners building strong networks. We work with communities and the government structures and this promotes and ensures continuity and sustainability of the development programs.
