Good Neighbors International Uganda, in partnership with Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) and Good Neighbors Korea completed construction of a new policae post in Kyaka II Refugee Settlement and handed over the post to the refugee community. On 13th November 2024 , Good Neighbors International Uganda officially inaugurated and handed over (Byabakora Police Post) to the Office of the Prime Minister Uganda.
This police facility is significant towards enhancing safety, security and peace for everyone in the Kyaka II Refugee settlement. Representatives from the Office of the Prime Minister Uganda, UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, Uganda National Police, local community members, and key stakeholders celebrated this milestone.
