Stephen is overjoyed about going to school.
The 14-year-old from rural Uganda, whose dream of going to school once felt impossible. Growing up in poverty, access to quality education seemed far out of reach for children like him—especially before 2019, when GNIUG significant strides were made to ensure every child’s right to education in Pallisa.
Thanks to the sponsorship program and support from Good Neighbors International Uganda, barriers to education have been broken down through advocacy for inclusive learning! Stephen is now thriving in school, proving that every child deserves the chance to learn, grow, and succeed.
